HAGS Shaving Soap - Resurrection

Resurrection returns for HAGS's fifth anniversary in a technically advanced form. The original fragrance composition from 2022 remains intact, but is presented more clearly, more balanced, and with greater nuance thanks to the new CORTEX-X soap base.

Grapefruit and mandarin open the fragrance with a lively, slightly tart citrus freshness. In the heart, salty marine notes blend with aromatic juniper to create a cool, deep blue atmosphere.

Musk and amberwood form the warm foundation. They take the edge off the maritime freshness and give Resurrection a lasting, modern, and slightly mysterious finish.

The fragrance evokes a lone diver returning from the dark depths to the light – aquatic and fresh, but distinctly darker and more atmospheric than a classic summer fragrance.

The tallow-based CORTEX-X soap base combines beef tallow, olive oil, and shea butter with squalane, jojoba oil, abyssinian oil, MCT oil, aloe vera leaf water, panthenol, lanolin, silk protein, and vitamin E.

When lathered, it produces a dense, creamy lather with pronounced cushioning and excellent glide. Its excellent water absorption allows the consistency to be precisely adjusted from compact to exceptionally hydrated.

USE

Do not cover the soap with water or soak it before use.

Load the moistened shaving brush directly on the surface of the soap for about ten seconds. Then work up the lather on the face or in a shaving bowl, gradually adding water.

CORTEX X absorbs a lot of water. For an especially creamy, gliding lather, the soap may therefore be hydrated more thoroughly.

After shaving, store dry, cool, and protected from direct contact with water.
