Fougère is one of Martin de Candre's best-known shaving soaps and interprets one of the most traditional fragrance families in men's cosmetics.

The opening combines lavandin, thyme and bergamot for a fresh, aromatic start. Geranium and patchouli follow in the heart, before oakmoss with subtle amber facets provides a dry, woody finish.

This makes Fougère simultaneously green, fresh and classic – but significantly more complex than a pure herbal soap.

Beneath the fragrance lies the proven Martin de Candre formula: traditionally made using kettle-boiled saponification, entirely plant-based and exceptionally long-lasting. With water and a shaving brush, a rich lather with good glide and cushioning quickly develops.
